The Starlingbrook Leadership team is excited to announce a new workshop on how to manage your child’s Mental Health.
Youth’s mental health has been an increasing topic of concern prior to the pandemic. Since that time, parents have been noticing the decline in their children and youth’s mental health.
Parents/caregivers who were also impacted by the pandemic are at a loss at how to identify, prevent and support their children’s mental health challenges. When parents are worried about their children, it can affect all aspects of their life, including work. This workshop is geared for those with kids under the age of 18. Parents will learn tips to support their child effectively which may help maintain their own well being.

Workshops are a maximum of 18 participants to assure each attendee has the opportunity to interact, ask questions and gain as much from the workshop as possible.

These sessions will be led by Lisa, the newest facilitator to join the Starlingbrook Leadership team. Lisa is a therapist who specializes in addictions and mental health with over 20+ years of experience. Lisa started her career at the Kids Help Phone before working in both community and hospital based mental health services. She’s had the opportunities to share her expertise through print, radio and television, and now wishes to help parents directly through this workshop.
